Mr. Heman Joshi

Mr Heman Joshi is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust and the Cambridge Bowel Clinic. He specialises in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted colorectal surgery, particularly for colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor disorders. 

Mr Joshi completed his surgical training in London and Oxford, with a specialist fellowship in robotic surgery in South Korea. 

He has been awarded a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Oxford for his research into pelvic floor pathogenesis. 

Mr Joshi is a JAG accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Endoscopist. 

He is a Member of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI), Member of the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP) and Member of the Society American Gastrointestinal Surgeons (SAGES). He is the Clinical Lead for Sepsis at Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Clinical Lead for Endoscopy at Spire Lea Cambridge Hospital.
